We meet on Tuesdays at Tondu Methodist Church, Tondu Bridgend.
Current times are 10am – 3pm.
Our courses run every week from September to May/June, including school holidays, except for two weeks over Christmas.
You will need to stay on site with your child/ren (or within close proximity) while they attend the lessons they are enrolled in.
There is a parents area where you can chat, bring work or craft, and there is tea, coffee, a kitchen and free wifi available to use.
Younger siblings (and non-GCSE home educating families) are very welcome and we can offer art, crafts, toys and books for their enjoyment! Parent volunteers are also encouraged to run activities for children and other parents during class times.
Homework is set and marked by the tutors to ensure all topics can be covered and understood.
When you and your child feel ready, and possibly at the recommendation of the tutor, you are able to apply for exams in the summer (May/June) or November (available for some subjects and resits).
BEST has a close relationship with Bridgend College and we therefore arrange for exams to be taken there.
